I'm a huge fan of when sustainability and great design meet and the new kitchen by Reform is such a great example of that matter (for the heads up, if you are not yet familiar with Reform, they make high quality and designer fronts and countertops for Ikea kitchens- the perfect way to uplift a generic ikea kitchen if you ask me).
Designed by the architects of the Lendager Group, the UP kitchen is actually made of wood surplus that is left off from the floors sold by famous flooring manufacturer Dinesen. In an exclusive company like Dinesen, customer-specific solutions are produced, which generates large amounts of residual wood. Therefore, the kitchen consists of cuts that are left when Dinesen has supplied floors to galleries, restaurants, mansions, and the like - which combined with its positive impact on the environment only enriches the story of the design even further.
You can find out more about this kitchen here.
P.s. Another kitchen by Reform that I loved!
