Swing arm lamps in the kitchen | My Paradissi

Here I am, once again, repeating myself. Swing arm task lamps in the kitchen. They are good. So good, that definitely deserve a second post. And let me explain my reasons.
First and foremost, they are practical, easy to manipulate, manoeuvre and direct the light towards the area you currently/most often work at.

This also means that, when you point them towards the wall or ceiling, they create a most gorgeous indirect ambient light that usually complements any room (your pretty little kitchen for that matter). And, of course, nothing can stop you from having it both ways, one to light up your task area, another to create atmosphere. The number of lamps depends on the size of your kitchen, and, although you will mostly find them in pairs, as you will notice from the images below, a single one or more than two work equally well.

A big plus, as well, is that they can be easily mounted on the wall without having them hardwired if you simply purchase a plug in one (yay for renters). Btw, this one is rad.

Oh, and they are super cool just to look at, not to mention the style factor they bring to the room.

Are these reasons good enough for you too? Cause, I still wonder why haven't I placed one on my kitchen walls yet.

P.s. Swing arm wall lamps work wonders by the bed (and over it for a wow factor)
