Wanna see the perfect balance of rustic cozy, elegant bohemian and scandinavian designer? I thought so...
This summerhouse designed by Peter Ivens and Bea Mombaers looks like it gets everything just about right. The unrefined tree trump accent tables go hand in hand with the Pierre Jeanneret chairs, the jute rugs, concrete and wide plank wooden floors get so much softer with an overabundance of plush fur throws and the artisanal decorative accents match the contemporary designer pieces in an incredibly stylish way.
But it's not only that. What originally got my attention to these interior shots is the way the sunlight enters through all those large windows and brings out this impeccable calm and cozy vibe enhanced by the natural textures and color palette.
A few things to note:
* the built-in butcher's block on the kitchen countertop. Such a gorgeous rustic note to the otherwise very refined and minimalistic kitchen design (read: the extra thick marble countertop and splashback)
* speaking of the kitchen, how glorious is the light coming in through the skylights?
* also in the kitchen, I'm drooling over the beautifully simple ceramics collection on the long open marble shelf
* the built-in wooden desk in the bay window that serves as a minimalistic display furniture
* the handmade tapestry on the wall next to the staircase adds a happy color touch to the neutral color palette

Let's not take the marble shelf for granted. It is stunning! And the perfect way to have an elegant storage space.
