Ever since I dove down the blog world and started spending hours browsing and reading interesting content, I have lost my affinity towards books. I hate even saying that but there’s really not much I can do after cramming my brain with all the information I find online. That being said, I was ecstatic to prove myself wrong on that matter a few days ago. For, you see, a really cool book found its way into my hands and had me spending a whole evening on the sofa devouring each and every page of it.
The Urban Jungle Book, written by Igor Josifovic and Judith De Graaff and published by Callwey is quite possibly no news to the plant lovers of our company. Before publishing the book, Igor and Judith founded the Urban Jungle Bloggers community, a very active and creative one, where bloggers share their personal take on decorating with plants based on a specific topic each month (I even shared one post once!).
The book is, as you may tell, all about plants, the interior sorts, the ones that you can use and make your home a healthier and cozier place as they put it. You can find great tips on how to care for the most famous types, inspiration on decor, styling ideas and some very impressive DIY projects for the doers. But that’s not only it. The accompanying imagery is brilliant (wouldn’t expect much less of course) and the flow of the book is seamless and easy to read through. The perks of writing a book as an experienced blogger, I guess.
So, if you are on the lookout for a book to inspire you and help out with decorating with plants I just can’t recommend this one highly enough! You can find it in English EU and US and in german. Happy reading!
