I'm getting more and more into clean cut decluttered spaces as I grow old. As a matter of fact, minimalistic spaces with a rustic vibe are currently my soft spot. Quite frankly, nothing beats bare stone and concrete when used in contemporary architecture as they bring a natural element to the harsh often uninviting forms. I had no second thoughts to share with you when I came across this amazing home in Formentera earlier this morning. It is a renovated and extended house project by Marià Castelló and Daniel Redolat with the century old typical stone house serving as the starting point of the new impressive building. You can read more info about the project here or visit after the jump for some really inspiring shots ^^
