To my mind, the French (and Italian for that matter) Riviera is the synonym for cosmopolitan, laid back glamour. Like, long hours of doing nothing but enjoying the good life (name a few: the most gourmet delicacies, the finest of wines, the softest of clothes and the prettiest of the environments). Just like taking a summer course in style and sophistication. And then, there is this coastal feeling throughout the whole style input. Of course. The meaning of the name riviera is actually 'coastline' in italian. Now, let that salty breeze chill the glamour part a little, add a small amount of the bohemian carefree attitude and you have that exact style mix that takes summer into a whole new level. Are you with me on that? Follow me, after the jump, to see my take on a 35% coastal, 35% Riviera, 25% cosmopolitan and 5% bohemian style mix.
