Talking about colorful abodes, I couldn't but share with you today the home of Amber Lewis, interior design and blogger behind Amber Interiors. You'll be happily surprised to see an amazing mix of patterns and hues that, on a greater scale, stays subtle and calm. The bohemian vibe in Amber's home is only too obvious but so is the feeling of coziness and comfort. The white background, the abundant neutral tones and the ample daylight sneaking through the large openings definitely help a lot. So is the open plan design, where the eye can see a unified pattern of all the bits and pieces so tactically organized by the home owner. Love how she created a design that is also kid friendly (those mini flue chairs round the coffee table are adorable!). If I had to pick one accent of her design, however, that would be the textiles. Throws, pillows, rugs, drapes, you name it, I just can't have enough of these! Oh, and a last note.
