It is only normal that creative people reside inside inspiring homes. I mean, after a workday surrounded by actors, directors and photographers, in large filming studios and sets, where everything is guided by style and visual appeal, how can you get back into a home that lacks design and character? Well, you can’t. That’s why the home of cinematographer Darek Wolski and stylist Becks Welch in Malibu is simply amazing. The vertical arrangement of the plan, the high cottage inspired wooden roof and the large openings create an invigorating fresh feeling despite the dark colors and the unrefined finishes. Love the mix and match of thrifted furniture with designer pieces that give off the personal aesthetics of the owners. After all, they were the ones that solely decorated their home in the first place. No interior designer needed. That's so obvious ^^
