As days are getting chillier and we've even had our first snow a few days ago (on the mountains alone, of course) I feel it's time for another dream home inspiration (remember this and that one). I find myself having loads of fun while putting together such post as I see how the weather/mood/style changes from time to time affect my picks. As I've said before, I think I'd be a very difficult client for a designer to help me out with my home as I constantly swing between styles and ideas. There is a distinct line I follow, however, and it has to do with unrefined and casual spaces; the ones that one feels at home with. These can vary from stark scandinavian, playful eclectic, country rustic or with an industrial vibe. Today's dream home, inspired by the cozy atmosphere the winter days desire, is a mixture of eclectic and country interiors all with a distinct warm vibe. Let me show you around ^^

There is definitely a place for a huge fireplace in my dream home like this one. Wooden roof beams are in the plans too. |

An eclectic mixture of modern and vintage pieces is getting cozy with rich textiles and warm hues in Jenn's kitchen. Love the deep grey of the cabinetry. |

Love the idea of using a vintage dining table as a two-sided desk. Once again, the warm shades of the textiles create a welcoming winter atmosphere in this home office of Görel Crona. |
Here's a roundup of favorite home accessories that are sure to bring an inviting cozy tone to the interiors. Fluffy textiles in the form of rugs, throws and pillows will make your living room a cushy have on earth, a lit candle will add depth and soul to the room and a pretty mug to enjoy a hot tea or cocoa will complete the feeling.

The bed is covered with a rich faux fur throw and the rustic fireplace is getting up to date with a contemporary painting on the mantel. |

I just couldn't leave this eclectic bathroom out of today's collection. Love the brass lighting fixtures hanging from the black ceiling and the vintage furniture complementing the contemporary design. |
What do you think of my dream home? Will you come visit?
