The eclectic country house of Ursula Mascaro in Menorca, Spain

I'm quite drawn to artistic country houses lately, so after this amazing summer house in Hydra island, I'd like to share with you the house of Ursula Mascaro in Menorca. Its small interiors are crammed with art pieces and design furniture, vintage finds and tokens from her travels. Can't find something more creative than a serene country life being combined in perfect balance with culture and art.

How welcoming is this courtyard? Love all the moroccan leather poufs and the cozy sling chairs around the coffee table.

Shop your own: sling chair in ivory (Serena&Lily, $295), moroccan leather pouf set of 2 (BazarBerber, $160,70)

The blue floor is such a pleasant surprise! Spanish design loves to use pops of bright colors and this bold painted floor adds the desired color statement touch to the otherwise neutral interiors and the rough white stucco walls.

  5. I guess Mallorca may now appear on the itinerary of summer visiting Europe in the spring :) The north of the island at the right time really is superb for the travelling birder. For my next post I will bring you back to the less sunny conditions in the UK.
