Hello my friends, how are you?
It's been a long and fun week over here, as we celebrated the Orthodox Easter last Sunday and somehow, managed to keep the festivities all week long (along with birthdays and family reunions). Caught up in the turbulence of time, when realizing that small cousins are all grown up men and grandparents are not as vigorous as once were, it's that bizarre feeling of coming to terms, even for a fraction of a second, with the fact that time passes by and all that we ever possess is the present moment to claim our own and do it as we please.
So, go out and play, my friends, I'll be doing the same! xoxo

ReplyDeleteI spent Easter in Athens many years ago. I can only say, it's like the American 4 of July and Christmas, all rolled into one spectacular holiday celebration! Fireworks, crowds of people, red eggs, the Cathedral......it certainly brings back memories!
