Here's my try on styling the sofa in my living room. For the newcomers, I'm taking the online styling courses by Justina Blakeney and these are my class projects. Fun to call them that way, it feels very invigorating to be a part of a styling class! Anyway, this attempt I'm showing you here I call my 'warm ethnic' one, where I borrowed a handmade woven blanket by my mom and these amazing pillows by my cousin to create a rather folklore atmosphere. I kept the palette simple again, yet a bit bold, with oranges, browns and whites. The textures, I must say, are the strongest element of this decor.
You might also notice that I did some changes to my coffee table styling (see the previous one here) to match the sofa.
Tomorrow I'll be showing you another styling attempt of my sofa (which you can get a sneak peek at the gif after the jump).
So, what do you think?

great styling. a smart way to play up and down the intensity of the sofa as a focal point!
