Renaissance landscape design

I'm totally and utterly smitten by this whimsical Italian garden, photographed in back in autumn. Its is so beautifully dressed in the golden warm hues of fall, that I can oh so easily imagine myself strolling through its alleys, smelling the fresh wet ground and feeling the invigorating chilly breeze on my hair (and almost makes me wish it were October all along, almost).
This garden is located in Northern Italy, in a vineyard villa and dates all the way back to Renaissance. It previous owner transformed the old garden to what it is today; an earthly heaven with a majestic richness and a breathtaking growth of hundreds of different plants.
Please, be my guest and enjoy the following photos! xoxo
