I think I'll be forever bound to my father's village in the south of Crete, and its welcoming, strong essence of pure mediterranean aesthetics. Basic forms, unrefined materials, used and reclaimed functional items, handmade accents and a tiny hint of decoration in subtle and earthly tones. It wasn't hard to compose a such moodboard with items I scouted at 1stdibs (it was hard to narrow down my findings, that's for sure).
1stdibs is a great recourse of vintage and antique findings, artwork and design pieces, with an enormous database of unique items, varying on style, date and place of origin, perfect for that exquisite request that you might have and don't know where to find.
Siphnos, Greece | ceramic tiles | fish basket pendant light | olive basket | teal fan | bistro chairs | zinc topped table | moroccan kilim
