Sunday bliss (around Crete)

Sunday, February 17, 2013

I have to say that one of the most relaxing things to do is watching the raindrops hitting the sea waters. And that's exactly how I spent my Saturday; we went to Sissi, a small seaside village near Hersonissos on the north shores of Crete and enjoyed the winter loneliness of this touristic place, with only a few locals sitting at the cafe and the  ducks strolling at the harbor, next to the fishing boats. We got the chance to see the first blooming almond trees on our way there. Such a beautiful sight they are!
How is your weekend so far? I hope its a great one! xoxo

  1. It looks absolutely magical! I also love the sea and every summer we go sailing. On a a rainy day I love sitting under the canopy and watching the raindrops in the water.
