Swedish Christmas

Monday, December 10, 2012

When it comes to Christmas holidays, I have a feeling that Scandinavian people know what they're doing. Like this is their time of the year. It might be the snow, the wooden homes they live in, their easy going way they look at life or maybe that Santa's village is closer to their geographical dwellings rather than ours (the almost Saharan Mediterranean people I mean).

This place is exactly what I'm talking about. This old barn is transformed into a holiday paradise, with ornaments of any kind, wreaths and garlands, a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, soft textures and warm colors. And when I talk about scandi cool, here's what I mean; not many people can use a pineapple as Christmas decoration and be that successful!
