It's a public holiday today here; Clean Monday (or Ash Monday to some) is celebrated as the first day of lent, with loads of seafood, vegetables, lagana bread and taramosalata. And kite flying! If weather allows it, spending this day outdoors is just a bliss! Off I go to grab my kite.. see you around, my friends! xoxo
Beautiful kites photographed by Andrew.
Oh, this makes me want to call in sick and break out my kites. It's still verra much winter here and freezing cold (it's -3C) but the sun is shining. I've never flown my kites with mitts on but maybe it is time to try.
ReplyDeleteFun! I'm not sure I've ever grown up, because I still love kites. Lovely picture.
