I can't believe it's Friday already, although it doesn't feel like one. I have still loads of work to catch up and I'm a little behind schedule (which I hate when it happens) so most of this weekend will be spent indoors. Now that the days get colder and way much smaller I'm grateful I can be working from my place (and not having to dress up and go out and face the chill and rain).
I'm looking for a heating solution for my groundfloor apartment as my last year electric heater proved to be way too expensive and not that effective. Since there is no fireplace I'd love to get a wood-burning stove (I love the rustic smell of it!) but I it's near to impossible to get the chimney out straight on the street and the pellet burning ones are so high-priced to buy.. I thing I might just end up with a gas heater instead.
What do you do to warm up your place?

Many big candles is one solution ;-)
ReplyDeleteI can almost start crying when I look at the non-functioning fireplace in our home. My next home will definitely have a functioning one!
Have a wonderful weekend. I hope you manage to catch up on your work.

Love that fireplace. I wish I had a fireplace but unfortunately, I use gas heat too.

What a beautiful combo of images! I just dress warm and stay cozy when it's cold outside, cup of hot coffee, maybe some candles, soft light and good music...never disappoints! Happy weekend, xoxo
