Hello and welcome to My Paradissi. It’s about time to introduce myself.
My name is Eleni and I come from and live in Heraklion, Crete. I’ve spent almost 10 years of my life studying and working as an architect in other parts of Greece (including capital Athens..). I had a good time searching and experimenting both as a professional and as an individual. A few years ago, however, I realized that my birthplace seemed to be the right place to host all my dreams and aspirations. So, I came back. Now, I have my office inside my house, where I work as a freelance architect and interior designer while I enjoy the warm rays of the Cretan sun and the warmer hugs of my family and friends.
As for My Paradissi..
I started My Paradissi in the summer of 2010 on an impulse. Actually, I woke up in the middle of the night with an, dare to say, epiphany; I had to make a blog to gather up all my sorts of inspirations and to use it as a motivation to get even more inspired. It really looked like a huge mountain to climb back then (I still remember my heartbeats while I was signing up to blogger).
But my gut proved right.
Since then this little spot in the chaotic world of the www has really become what its name stands for; my iconic paradise. I can be happy there. I can be creative, inspirational and productive. And, most of all, I can grab onto these assets firmly and bring them into my real life world.
Thank you for being here and I hope you do share some of my enthusiasm for this little paradise..
