Wanna see a super snuggly bed nook I stumbled upon recently?
This cute arched bed alcove is located on the open loft of a really cool apartment in Gothenburg (read high ceilings, high windows, huge arches) that is shared on Entrance.
It might be on the verge of claustrophobic but if you don't have such issues, I think it'd be a great place to cuddle up and zone out after a busy day, especially during the colder months with extra fluffy duvets and cushy blankets.
I love to see this arched nook design in an urban, contemporary Scandinavian context as opposed to a more typical Greek island scenario. It does work brilliantly, don't you agree?
And, just to point out a design trick that's been pulled out on this low ceiling loft bedroom. Mirrors, reflective surfaces and glass. The closet doors are mirrored, there is a leaning mirror next to the bed, a chrome and mirror side table and a glass and inox desk, they all serve to create an illusion of extra space and depth by letting the light flow seamlessly throughout.
