Oh, the power of corralling! Although my kitchen is not that big, it made a huge impact in my daily routine to have all the breakfast parts gathered all together in one place. With the help of a large woven rectangle tray, I now have my cereals, grains, dried fruits, mugs and bowls in one place, ready to be used every morning. Next to the tray, there usually are fresh fruits and my greens (always some greens ;). I still don't drink any coffee or tea due to breastfeeding but as soon as that changes, I'll add those as well. And, finally, all those not so pretty items, like my juicer, coffee machine, blender etc are neatly located in the cabinets below.
Some of the products you see in these photos: woven tray, handmade ceramic mugs, cups, marble mortar and pestle, palm print
I also posted some more photos of my kitchen with my new bamboo pendant lamp last week. Check them out here.
Simple and beautiful

Thanks!
DeleteWow. Now I want this in my apartment. So beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you! You should really try this! It is not only pretty but very practical as well :)
DeleteWell composed articles like yours renews my faith in today’s writers. You’ve written information I can ultimately agree with as well as make use of.
ReplyDeleteI love the breakfast station idea.
ReplyDeleteBut what's the correlation between breastfeeding and tea or coffee? I'm tandem breastfeed my toddler and preschooler and it has no effect whatsoever. Excessive consumption might have a slight effect. I'd say, don't stay off things you enjoy or it will make your milk journey shorter.
I also love your home! I'm following it for inspiration on how to keep a great interior with little ones around.
ReplyDeleteThanks! And thank you for the breastfeeding insight :) I will hopefully start caffeine in a month or so so as my baby will be just a bit older (he's now 3 months old). I did the same with my elder (which I breastfed for 1,5 years) and indeed there was no problem. It's just that I feel my baby is still so baby ^_^ Congrats on the tandem by the way!
