What do you think of my new sofa throw? I admit I'm totally in love with it! I'm not sure if you can tell from the photo but it is amazingly sturdy and soft at the same time. It is exactly the kind of throw I've been looking for to protect my sofa from the everyday use plus it adds a sophisticated country touch to my home decor. It came all the way from Morocco from the new store, Shouf, by Pauline de Villiers Brettell. I have the pleasure to know Pauline quite some time now from her blog, Tea In Tangiers, as I follow her musings on my favorite country ever, Morocco. I was really excited to see her open an online place to sell authentic moroccan kilims, rugs and other textiles. Like, who doesn't want a gorgeous vintage Beni Ourain rug for their home straight from the source? Or, a colorful boucherouite brimming with an exquisite ethnic vibe? Pauline is kindly offering My Paradissi readers a 10% off throughout her store with code PARADISSI (valid until end of May). Go on, have a look here and stay in touch with her latest shop updates on facebook, twitter and instagram.

  1. I love that look! I've been wanting to do that to my sofa for a long time and I think a blanket like that is the perfect answer. I'll be on the lookout for one.
