Have you spotted the latest bathroom trend yet? I’m talking about those satin black or dark oil rub bronze fixtures that are to be seen in all astonishing bathrooms around the web lately. I have a soft spot for bathrooms these days, as I'm about to renovate mine, and although I had initially decided that the main color of the walls and floors to be black and white, I was thinking the fixtures to be either brass or inox. I’m totally changing my mind, as you can tell. These black beauties with the aged look have stolen my heart.

And, to make things even more exciting, the timing could have been no better to be contacted by DecorPlanet.com, an online retailer that specializes in bathroom products and accessories, but also has a great selection of lighting, towel warmers and interior doors to have a look. Boy, did I spend hours browsing through their pages. There are dozens of choices for all styles and types, from the contemporary minimalist (like, how cool is this sleek Fresca Mezzo gray oak modern bathroom vanity?) to more classic or eclectic pieces. They have some great satin black and oil rub bronze finishes that are about to give me a hard time narrowing down to my final picks (although I'm pretty sure that I adore this Danze 10” antique bell showerhead).

I'm a little bit obsessed with everything bathroom, because we are in the middle of a big bathroom renovation ourselves and haven't decided upon all the details. ReplyDeletewow these are so good. I love these black fixtures paired with a lot of white to really stand out!!! when it really comes down to it though, i might have to stick with brass in my own bathroom :-)
