I'm all for texture and romance today. In my terms, this is interpreted as a casual country style with elegant feminine touches, in neutral hues with details in black to add some interest. Such a home would be located in the suburbia, or somewhere where gardens and views and all the ample sunlight to enter generously in the interiors. I already smell the freshly cut flowers in the vases and feel the crisp bed linens on my skin. In my dream home, there will definite be..

..lots of texture,
on furniture and accents. I really love how the wicker chair, the seagrass basket and the sisal rug work together in the above scene.

..a small work station in the kitchen.
I've always dreamt of a home where the kitchen would be the most efficient room. In this one, apart from cooking and gathering with family, you can always catch up with some work or news, or put down new project lists.

.. open shelving
with subway tiles back and blonde wood shelves. In my dream home, all my kitchenware would be cream, white or gray of course, and there would be no hint of dust whatsoever.

..extra cushy bed linens,
with subtle pattern and scalloped trimming. This setting I saw in gadabout blog some time ago just can't get out of my mind.

..an oval gilded mirror,
in an otherwise simple white bathroom. Like a glam move to break the stark monotony of the white tile.

..a cushy shaded seating
in the yard. Love the thick unrefined wooden beams that form the bench and the pergola, and all the soft linens that contrast this harsh texture. I would really love to spend hours in this place ^^
