These shots by Polly Wreford, styled by Sarah Keady for Red Magazine are just too pretty not to share them with you. They remind me of carefree summer vacations on a Cycladic island with all those blues, the white patina and the unrefined woods going on. They have this irresistible chill out breeze coming from the shabby finish contrasting the bold, fine blue and white patterns and the sparse decoration. Which is, by the way, exactly how they are supposed to be; styled interiors for magazine shooting and product promoting are obviously there to create a feeling, a vibe and a story which they'll help them sell. And, that's the reason why I usually don't post such images on this blog. Don't get me wrong; I love them and I get inspired by them (and most definitely use this platform to introduce you to products I like and suggest you can buy) but I usually find such photos a bit too stylized and boring and something I can't relate to. Not always though. Like I said, these shots are so simple and casual that they could easily been taken from an actual home somewhere in Folegandros or Milos. I just can't have enough of looking at them and count the days till my days off in Mykonos (yay!). What do you think of these shots? Are you ready for some summer planning yet?
