Round Crete: Silent seascapes in Analipsi Hersonissos | My Paradissi © Eleni Psyllaki

Going through the photos I took last weekend from a daytrip to Analipsi village, I found these few I'd like to share with you. Analipsi is a northern coastal village outside Heraklion (just before Hersonissos, if you're familiar with it) and is mostly a touristic place. That means that during summertime it gets crowded with people and in winter there is silence and stillness all around. I love this contradiction that's going on on this island throughout the year; to watch the landscapes change under the burden of hordes of visitors and the emptiness of the sometimes sweet winter days.

  1. That must have been a rejuvenating!
I'm quite ready for spending a day by the sea.
