Love the fresh take of Michaël Verheyden and Saartje Vereecke to their newly bought dilapidated brick house in Genk, Belgium. Actually, I have a thing for exposed brick lately (I'm using it on a new project I'm currently designing) and this little gem got my attention instantly. The interiors are simple, contemporary eclectic with lots of leather textiles and furniture (as you see, the couple are designing leather furnishings and accessories). You can read more about their budget renovation as well as see a few more photos on Dwell.

Mm brick houses are always my favourite. London girl here :)
ReplyDeleteI adore exposed brick as well! There's something about feeling like you've stepped into a loft or an industrial building. Lovely renovation! Thanks for sharing Eleni.
ReplyDeleteOh just gorgeous! Exposed brick is always my favorite for interiors as well as exteriors! I REALLY want some exposed brick in my future home!
ReplyDeletei could almost see my self in there! love it xxx
ReplyDeleteI love what they did to this house. It can inspire a lot of young Belgians that neglect these houses because they somehow seem to have gotten out of style. Great work from a great designer Michaël Verheyden. I am a huge fan of his handbags and objects
