Stripe bed linens and shabby coastal decor
Coastal inspired styling

Hello, my friends, how are you?
It is extremely hot today here (it's literally more than 33o C) which makes me wonder why have I not hit the beach yet and let my spirit indulge into its cool sea waters? Rhetorical question, as I am about to as soon as I finish some things that lay on top of my todo list. Anyway, the weather is not going to change for the next many months (summer is here, yay!) so now it's time to balance summer pleasures with actual working on this really tempting island that I live in.
On another note, keeping the indoors fresh while the warm weather lasts is vital and a coastal inspired styling really helps to do so. Shabby woods, nautical stripes, crisp white linens and some beach keepsakes from previous vacation are only a few things you can use to create the feeling.
So, does it feel like summer where you live? I'd love to know!

  1. Love the 15 things to give up to find happiness - now if I can bring myself to do them!

  2. As always your links are interesting and lovely. It's been really hot in Tirana, Albania too. But we are going to see some rain this week, according to yahoo weather forecast.
    Have a lovely week Eleni!
