I bet that it is this feeling of pure awe while looking at the very end of the blue horizon that makes the Aegean islands so beloved and popular. Santorini is well famous about that, the villas and villages, white carved rocks onto the harsh and stark mountains, as if ready to dive into the deep blue waters, release their existence from the burdens of concrete life, something far more primitive and divine.
I got into a complete poetic mood while browsing through the photos of Honeymoon Petra Villas in Santorini. Its outdoors are beyond admiration; the small alleys, the undefined pergolas, the unexpected touches of green and the familiar cycladic curves are the best possible setting to enjoy the breathtaking view from.

The sturdy black rock is incorporated in the design of the room, creating a bold contrast with the sleek white forms.

Dark rock scenery and a built in oven. A BBQ with a view to the caldera, the volcano and Santorini's satellite islands, with the soft sea breeze keeping you company, sounds like a magnificent idea!

Behind the curtains of the arched door lays a stucco bathtub. I only imagine the bliss of the couple staying there. I guess the name of this hotel is no accident whatsoever.

P.s. A dream home in Santorini.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure that this place will be even better if you see it live!
Place as beautiful as heaven. I have traveled to Ssntorini for two weeks. Even I have written here.
ReplyDeleteI like this place a lot. This kind of climate and atmosphere is best for honeymoon trip. I don't like places with lot of rains r lot of heat. I like pleasant atmosphere so that it becomes easy for travelling places and having fun. It seems so quiet and exotic. I also went for honeymoon to a same kind of a place, it was wonderful.
