If I had to pick one plant to fill Paradise with, then it would have to be a vibrant bougainvillea. It's like an eternal love story that's going on between us; I can spend hours just gazing at its colorful blooms and the way it climbs up on walls and dresses up alleys and yards just fills my stomach with butterflies. I probably sound like I exaggerate a bit, but sometimes the wonder of nature deserves our gratitude and awe simply for its pure existence. I feel that the fuchsia, pink and orange blooms of a bougainvillea sparkle under the bright Mediterranean sun and I simply adore their contrast with the Cycladic blues and turquoises.
The last shot is from my very own precious bougainvillea I planted outside my house half a year ago. I chose an orange hue one but the poor guy is still so young and petite that makes a big difference with the brisk plants of the previous shots. I know deep down that it will soon grow big and bright and all its blooms will keep me company through my office window. Can't wait for that!
Enjoy, my friends, the following photos are here to brighten up your day =)
