A stylish, personalized home office is crucial to get you motivated and inspired while working from your place. Here are 5 ideas on how you can make it work.

 Use a task table as desk and a vintage school chair as your basic working furniture. Start on a white background and add some color with fancy string lights, a yellow desk lamp and a demijohn green bottle.

I love this neutral working space with the white chairs, desk and bookcase. A retro desk lamp, some vases with twigs for decor and framed art is all that is needed. Oh, and some extra storage, of course, with a reclaimed crate and a tin box and geometric pattern one.

I used to do my homework on a similar vintage metal desk at my grandpa's home office and I just can't get over it! Combine it with a map wall decal in a bold hue or multicolored and a country dining chair for a contemporary style.

Working from you bedroom can be tricky. Use a wall mounted work surface under a window, when possible, and beautify it with a statement orange table lamp and a contradicting (plus more practical) task lamp in neutral white. A plywood chair and a short stool complete the look.

This is the most eclectic room of the collection. I love the basic black desk and the metal chair dressed with a black sheepskin rug. Hang a big typography art print right over the desk, light up with a vintage desk lamp and use assorted orange boxes as a refined storage solution. The rocking eames chair and an impressive natural pendant will definitely add up to the whole sophisticated look.
