Home office inspiration
Whereas an open fireplace is a most tempting image for a lazy Sunday, a good ol' functional home office serves as the best motivation for a chilly Monday. Like the above bright, wooden warm interiors, wrapped up in style and attitude, with that indistinct scent of creation in the atmosphere all around.

Sunday bliss
Burning fireplace, comfy armchair by it and favorite book to keep you company (or that cowl to knit, preferably..)
Hope your Sunday is as close to your dream one as possible! xoxo

Feel good recipe
Pink and apricot with extra romance in the air and some positive attitude topping; that's the recipe for the day to start off nicely (tonight was the second night in a row that I woke up to the trembling of an earthquake! Thankfully, it was a small one, but it gave me the creeps nonetheless..).
Let's stick to Life Is Beautiful, and do something about it, then ☺

Bold and bright dining
Contrasting dining spots with bold hues, bright lights and black details to define the atmosphere. Like the amazing wall painting in the first photo and the black eames chairs that soften the rustic monopoly of the table. Speaking of seating, what do you think of the bold red, rattan chairs in the second image? I love how they are upholstered with a tiki inspired print that, along with the multi-colored pillows and wall frames, give n exotic, easy-going breeze to the otherwise plain white scene.

Bedroom overload
After a good night's sleep (so good to sleep on your bed and not on a hospital chair..) that lasted more than 10 hours straight (!), my eyes see only bedrooms. Sunlit, easy-going, effortlessly styled bedrooms. With comfy beds, crisp linens, wooden elements and nature inspiration (whether the real thing through a window or artsy one on the walls). Which one is your favorite?

Serene moments
Warm hues, peaceful formations and an ambient, early afternoon light that emit the ideal scenery for a restful moment, whether this could be in a living room, a dining room or a nursery. I'm so glad I stumbled upon these great designs by Jute. Do visit their site for even more blissful atmospheres.
P.S. Thank you for your sweet comments and emails about my man's accident. He's feeling better already and hopefully will leave the hospital in the next couple of days..

Bathroom simply romance
Oh, hello lovely bathrooms, with your clawfoot bathtubs, the paneled white walls, the classic fittings and those tiny bit details that actually make a difference (yes, I'm talking to you mr. roman stool and to you all assorted vintage mirrors).

Easy-going eclectic
It's good to get inspired by creative messy and eclectic mix&match spaces that give off a result more livable and chill than decoration wise appropriate and ready-for-shoot stylized. Like the above (not that they haven't been a bit prepared for any kind of shoot, but they look the least approachable and unpretentious anyhow..) Don't you agree?

Cool in the dining room
I find the simplicity and the bluish hues of these dining rooms pretty attractive today. It may be the xl world map (and its amazing muted colors that define the scene), the fantastic painted parquet floor just below (would you dare paint your floor that way?) combined with the wall art composition, or the ease of the shed like atmosphere in the last pic. Which one steals your attention?

Mid-winter hues
Good morning my friends! Have you ever noticed those fresh sparkles and the mysterious white haze that accompany the mid winter morning showers? We tend to have breaks of sunshine while raining here, with simultaneous rainbows dressing the city, which is pretty whimsical to observe.
First day of the week inspiration, with an majestic mantel sitting on an amazing fishbone parquet, with its large gilded mirror, rooms with neo-classical and contemporary eclectic accents in pastel and natural hues, impressive corridors of what seems to be the ideal abode and those fresh morning sparkles that make everything seem a tad prettier.

Sunday getaway
It was a big big Sunday today. And a beautiful one. Next to Zaros lake, with friends, ducks, a fireplace and lots of food and laugh. And I'm really delightfully exhausted..
How was your weekend? Are you ready for the new week to come? xoxo

Sunlit interiors
The sun is out and the bedroom has to be simple, cosy and profound. With amazing fishbone parquet floors, white crisp linens and a statement vintage leather armchair. Or, with folklore accents and naturally carved logs transformed into furniture and fresh plants to complement. On any case, however, the sun beams have to get indoors and steal the show.

Demigod
You are my demigod.. Hehe, I love that marble sign by Greece is for lovers. You can use it as a hot-plate or a paperweight or simply to show your eternal faith to that special person.

Grey in bed
Concrete in the bedroom. Fixed cubic cutouts and bicolor detail at the headboard, with room for framed art and books. Simple and functional. What do you think?

Snug bath
Is it just me or the bathroom is indeed the least favorable room in a house during wintertime? I mean, mine happens to be the coldest place (no heating in it whatsoever) and it's like a torture to have running water on you with that low temperature. I guess with the appropriate heating system and a warm decor of earthly tones, wooden accents, stone finishing and lots of fluffy, freshly smelling towels maybe this can change. And those sunrays sneaking into it through the large window can help (when there are some..). So how do you cope with your everyday shower routing during winter?
