Modern elegance

I have this feeling that, when it comes to high end housing architecture, we usually come across sleek and stark interiors, empty of life and vibrance. This house, located in Danderyd, Sweden, designed by Franson Wreland Architects proves me totally wrong. And I'm so happy about that!

As an architect myself, I strongly believe in that the client has to be treated to a home and not a house just for a magazine cover. Take this space, for example. How great it would feel to lay on the chaise, enjoy the snow falling through the ceiling high glass window and the warmth coming from the fireplace right next to you? The open plan of this house looks perfect for friend gatherings or everyday family time all year long.

Which is your favorite spot in this house? I'd love to know!
