You know, the more inspiration one gets the more confusing and difficult it is to narrow down his choices and come up with a final design for his project. I change my mind all the time when it comes to what my ideal design looks like (it took me more than a year to design the place I live now and I'm not even there yet!). This blog works as a pressure valve for my creative instincts and these moodboards of different styles and atmospheres make me feel just like decorating my place again and again and again (but, kind of the easy way ;)
So, today my dream kitchen would look like some of the above and would definitely have:
- Cute mugs and bowls neatly displayed. As we talk about dreaming (thus cleaning is not an issue!) I'd use open shelving to show them off. Preferably built in shelves with rough stucco to remind me of the unpolished countryside.
- Assorted colorful chairs that pair with a matching bench. Oh, pastel hues are my fave this time of hear!
- Cement like walls that bring out the innocence of the country white cabinets and subway tiles complementing the marble countertop. All in pure whites and grays that create a neutral background for the colorful kitchenware and chairs mentioned above.
So, what would your dream kitchen look like?
P.S. I still love these eclectic, cottage and fluo kitchens!
