The above photo is taken by my man and is actually, as it says, the view from my Paradissi. I have never mentioned it before, but the name of my blog is after a really hearted place of mine called Paradissi. It is located in southern Crete, right outside my village (a small village on the mountains called Melampes) and it's a very beautiful and powerful spot on earth (I am not objective, I love my roots a little too much..) This mountain in the photo is called Kedros and during wintertime the clouds run over it like a huge, eternal wave creating the most amazing view.
There, I said it. Hope you can visit our land someday, it is most definitely worth it!

gorgeous Eleni, I went in Crete once 7 yrs ago... but stayed mostly in Tersanas (acropolis north west) and I felt in love with Chania... daily part not touristic one... I don't know south of your island yet... But I'm sure i'll come back one of those days!! Thanks for this share!! and Have a great weekend!
