Shopper's moodboard: Sparkling gold

Working by the fire No2

With a more country chic attitude than this one, I could still imagine myself working for hours with the company of a working fireplace (perhaps on a more comfortable chair, however).

Logging

Those of you that are lucky to enjoy the warmth of a fireplace or wooden stove (you should know that I'm jealous of you..) have had to deal with the log storage problem sometime. So, tell me, where do you keep your logs to be burnt; is it outdoors or someplace indoors? If I had a fireplace I'd definitely go for one of the above solutions (although I'd definitely consider this rustic log pile or this round metallic log crib and this chic log carrier, if I had to store them outdoors).

Red flood

Powerful, vibrant, energetic and warm nonetheless. Would you do red in your place?
More reds here and there and this bedroom, this bathroom, this leather sofa, the red swan chair of Arne Jacobsen and this amazing blood-red chandelier. Oh, and a Christmas red ribbon idea.

Green view

I'm still having this obsession (and always will, until I manage to own one) with homes surrounded by nature and green trees and little birds and all that back to our real selves motivators Now, with the weather getting colder (and all those imagination intriguing photos) I can easily picture myself having coffee on a soft, warm sofa next to a large, extra large, window that serves as the only divider between me and the outdoors. Oh, the divine song of the rain and the blessed smell of fire..

Eclectic kitchens

What do you think of the above kitchens? Each one of them has a flair of eclecticism and uniqueness, without losing an inch of functionality for the everyday use (like ample storage and space to move around, among others..).
Now tell me, would you do the dishes in front of a mirror?

Filling up

So glad this weekend is around, my inspiration tank needs fuel and I think I know the best way to fill it up; relaxing brain shutdown while sitting next to the fireplace, knitting, watching a movie, chitchatting or just listening to the crackling sound of the burning logs. Off I go then..

Orange spots

Sweet flood of orange inspiration to close up this hectic week. Muted and warm oranges mixed with concrete grays and honey woods, create a rather warm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for lazy weekend afternoons, with tea and biscuits and good company, don't you think?

Need a hand?

I love organizing and keeping things in place, I love handmade stuff as well and, most definitely, I love everything that combines artsy style and practical usage. How come I not love this wire hand made by Robin, suitable for keeping jewelry or photos and cards or whatever comes to mind.

Find it in RawBoneStudio.
