Good day to you all from the bright and sunny (as opposed to the pessimists, grumpy weather forecasters) Crete! Off I go to catch some warm sun rays and enjoy an ice cold coffee outside. Wish you a great weekend! xoxo
Dining rooms happen to be my favorite spot inside a house and that, most probably, has to do with their multifunctional purpose (I guess I'm not the only one who eats, chills or studies on that big dining table). So while I'm preparing for my uncle's welcoming dinner at my mum's place, it's good to share with you some more inspiration of eclectic and easy going such rooms.
When it comes to astounding country villas I get totally weak in my knees. Not only do I want to pack my things and move there straight away but there's is also a deeper feeling that makes me all anxious and that has to do with my profession. I want to build one of these earthly miracles. To daydream about them and start sketching it's bones and flesh before even they have existed in the customer's imagination. It is the power of creation that I'm talking about and that tremendous strength that comes and hits me on my head whenever I bump into eclectic, country buildings, perfectly situated in natural surroundings, with all those natural materials and organic forms hiding under a dense green veil. Blogging about them sometimes feels like it's a bigger temptation than I can handle, on the other hand, however, it is vital to my existence. So I just carry on and dive even deeper into the design ocean, looking for even greater fish to catch and hope that you enjoy keeping me company on this quest.
Now that it's time to take care of our gardens and our beloved little plants, why not do it the eco way? While spending some time on ever-inspiring etsy, I've come across these cute ideas to brighten up any garden any size with recycling and ecology kept in mind. Hope you like them as well!

I know, I know, everyone had a little more to eat these days with all those family-friend dinners and the delicious, seasonal cookies and treats.. at least I did (here, have a look on what I'm talking about). I still am full, actually. But that doesn't stop me from posting about beautiful kitchens. Especially, when it comes to rustic, country style ones, with all those woods and stones, the high ceilings and definitely with some brass pans hanging around!
It is amazing how quickly time passes by and how the Easter days are now becoming a pleasant memory, while warmer, summer feeling days are taking up their role in the order of life. Back to my love-to-hate ground floor, town apartment, I feel it's high time I did the usual farewell ritual to the pre-Easter winter days; cleaning up the house, putting away those woolen sweaters and coats and filling the vases with fresh, smelling spring flowers. May is only a few days away and I would love to welcome him with a hug full of blossoms!
How was your Easter? Did you have enough of joy, laughter and treats? Hope your returning to everyday life is smooth and promising. xo

The last few days had been pretty harsh but I'm already feeling better now. Nobody said that life was gonna be easy, did they? Anyways, thank you all for your being around and for your sweet comments and emails. They really mean a lot to me! xoxo
