Light and texture

Tuesday, September 20, 2011

Today's inspiration is all about texture and light. Velvet and cotton, rough wood and rattan, brass and galvanized accents and plenty organic items like branches, plants or fresh fruit come together to create a most welcoming atmosphere. An extra large art piece situated on the back to provide the necessary depth in the space along with that personal attitude that gives character to the room. So what to you think?

  2. I like it- starting with that velvet chair in first pic and the metal chair in the second. That navy and white pillow is wonderful play on paisley and circles.

  5. I love it! It's just beautiful - reminiscent of the beach without being too beachy.
