Villa Fabrica in Santorini

Tuesday, June 21, 2011

Time to dive into some Aegean white and blue again (if this and this and this aren't enough..). Ideal destination this renovated old factory in Santorini just underneath the castle of Pyrgos. Villa Fabrica is the perfect combination of the traditional organic and sleek forms of the aegean architecture along with the modernity and functionality inspired by a more industrial attitude of the ex-factory. How peaceful would it be to lie under the bright sun on that well isolated terrace and stare as far as the blue horizon gets?

  5. I love so much cyclades architecture!
Those lines, that white! (and blue sky, blue sea, blue little churches roof and fucsia of bouganvillea..)
I've been to Paros and Mykonos but I want to go even to Santorini! :-)
