Anemi Hotel in Folegandros

Wednesday, April 13, 2011

I've kept these images of Anemi hotel in my folders quite a long, but, finally, it's high time I shared them with you. Actually, this week hasn't started off as good as I expected- practicing architecture in the middle of a state financial crisis can prove to be rather tough- so, once again I find comfort in all those already built, beautiful houses and hotels and keep my mind working and creating, imagining to be more precise. This lovely hotel is located in one of Greece's many and stunning Aegean islands, Folegandros, and is designed by architect Alexandros Samaras and interior designer Stavros Papagiannis. I was instantly draw by the simplicity of the interiors and was smitten by the large photographic canvases with scenes of the greek landscape and culture. Visit their site for more images and information (there's still time to plan for a summer getaway, right?).

  3. I could see why you would find inspiration in a beautiful hotel like this. It reminds me of Hotel Merida Mexico.
