One of the things I like most about sunny weather is those harsh shadows created by the bright sun rays coming through the window blinds and the pergola beams. I can spend hours just gazing at the different geometrical or abstract shapes they form, feeling dazzled by the mystifying atmosphere emerging from the eternal fight of shadow and light.

Funny...I ripped out an image (a while ago) similar to number one as inspiration for our rooftop deck pergola.
