I saw this neatly handled stone cottage this morning in the all-inspiring italian Elle Decor and didn't miss a second to repost it here. Luca and Silvia Zanaroli transformed an old group of pagliara (round stone buildings used to store goods and protect the farmers from bad weather) located in Salento, South Italy, into a functional and welcoming home without alienating its original character. Repurposing in architecture can be really inspiring and creative, right?
